Rep. Takano “100 Businesses in 100 Days” Kick-Off Press Conference

Washington DC – Last week, Rep. Mark Takano (D-Riverside) announced that he will be conducting a tour of one hundred local Inland Empire businesses over the next one hundred days. The tour, dubbed “100 Businesses in 100 Days,” will give Rep. Takano the opportunity to talk with business owners and their employees about the business climate and their challenges.

ISCA Tech is an innovative company located in Riverside, CA, that develops environmentally friendly, natural and pheromone based solutions for agricultural and urban applications to reduce pests and replace harmful insecticides. It’s mission is to protect the world from damaging insects and disease causing pathogens through solutions that are economical, effective, and ecologically friendly. 

 

Rep. Takano will visit and meet with business owners throughout the 41^st Congressional District (Riverside, Perris, Moreno Valley and Jurupa Valley) across all business sectors, including: manufacturing, export, retail, construction, high-tech, hospitality, food service, and more.

 

Prior to each visit, businesses will be encouraged to fill out a survey asking details about their company, including: number of employees, gross sales, recent difficulties, future business outlook, and more. The findings will be compiled in a report by the Office of Mark Takano and used to direct future legislation that will improve the economy.
