Rep. Mark Takano is Fighting for Deported Veterans

I first met Hector Barajas, a former deported veteran, in Tijuana, Mexico, at the Deported Veterans Support House he helped found. Since then, Hector was able to become a naturalized citizen and, today, he is in Congress advocating for other deported veterans. We must correct this grave injustice and prevent veterans from being deported from our country. The Veteran Deportation Prevention and Reform Act would implement critical reforms across agencies for noncitizen veterans, prevent their deportation, and bring certain eligible deported veterans back home.
