Rep. Takano CALLS OUT Secretary McMahon Disrespect for Nurses

Linda McMahon has decided that nursing, public health, and physicians' assistant degrees don't qualify as professional degrees — and they don't deserve the same access to student loans. We're already facing a healthcare worker shortage, and this decision pushes nursing degrees further out of reach for millions of Americans. We demand that these professions get the respect they deserve and all students, no matter their economic background, can dream of pursuing a career in healthcare.
