Rep. Takano Speaks in Support of Bill to Extend Veterans Programs

On September 25, 2017, Rep. Takano spoke on the Floor in support of H.R. 3819, a bill that reauthorizes several essential veterans programs that support the men and women who served. The bill also makes small technical changes that helps follow through on the promises in the new GI Bill, including Rep. Takano's provision to restore benefits for veterans left stranded by a for-profit college.
